Elk River hunts buffalo out of a free-roaming herd of around 1,500 animals. On our trophy hunts, you pick the animal you would like to shoot. The animal is not picked for you. On our hunts, we travel by horseback. The ride in, the ride to the buffalo, and the ride out are on horseback. We encourage the use of traditional firearms. Our hunt is a hunt and also a great adventure. The hunt takes place at a very remote location in Montana's back country. It is truly the hunt of a lifetime.
